Phase IV - it really is scary, honest

Posted on July 8, 2008 | 1 comment |

A little while ago, I nominated Phase IV as one of the scariest movies ever made. I'm not sure anyone believed me. That's probably because the trailer is so rubbish.

So here's the first nine minutes or so, which are just very eerie indeed and should give you the creeps. If you fear insects, don't watch it; if you don't fear insects, you will by the end of it.

Don't look at the ants. Don't be paranoid. Of course they're not conspiring against you.

I believe you! I remember seeing Phase IV as part of a BBC2 late night cult film showing many many years ago. Its a top quality late night film with a mixture of close ups of real insects and like the Andromeda strain..very little dialog. I also remember that one of the 'characters' is an ant in the hive.. which was both really odd but very cool!
Get onto E-bay and get it!
