I need your help.
I'm out tonight so won't be watching the final of The Apprentice live. Instead, I'll be recording it.
Given that I have to write the daily news for the blog tomorrow, can you think of any feasible way for me to avoid finding out who has won before I've had a chance to watch the episode?
Worse still, I'm out tomorrow night, so I've got to be able to maintain this for at least two days, maybe even three (you know what Fridays can be like). Should I just give up hope?

The Likely Lads approach. Find a good church and stay there and hope the relevant holyman isn't a fan of the show. Cathedrals are good because they tend to be open longer and there's plenty of places to hide.
Other than that ... good luck.

Leave the country?

Get up implausibly early tomorrow and watch it before you start on the news (fast forwarding the dull bits),
or
write the news now and stay away from the internet and other people all day.
Me? I'll be on the Guardian Liveblog over here -> http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/organgrinder

Good plans. Unfortunately, the getting up early one was a problem since we set the radio-alarm clock to wake us up. Guess which Radio 1 DJ decided to start playing the last moments of last night's episode at that exact moment.

You should have listened to Radio 2. Terry Wogan appears to be the only person in the country never to have watched The Apprentice.
I was very amused yesterday, when on the way home from an exhausting school trip with a bunch of six year olds, all the mums suddenly realised their chances of an early night were going to be scuppered by watching the last episode.
