We're just getting 'Supernova' over here, which has been my introduction to Rob Brydon. It's a great diversion for Saturday Mornings (time delayed due to work) while eating breakfast. Fun little fish out of water sitcom and a rare filmed one at that.

Can't really tell what 'Identity Crisis' is from that pic; looks almost like a talk show!

And not much longer for BBC-A to give us G&S over here! I've got 'The Lost World' in my Netflix queue as well for more of Ms. Page.

Rob Brydon's Identity Crisis was a documentary Brydon filmed in which he examines his feelings towards Wales and Welshness and interviews various Welsh people (Griff Rhys Jones, Max Boyce, the cast of Gavin & Stacey) about Wales, stereotypes, etc. He then has to do a stand-up act based on the results in Cardiff.

It's quite a good little documentary and the highlights are obviously Joanna Page, archive footage of Rob Brydon trying to pronounce Welsh place names on an old game show he hosted and James Corden talking about how the Welsh language "hasn't caught on". It's nice as well, since Brydon starts off almost anti-Welsh and ends up feeling very patriotric and enthused about his heritage.

Wasn't that impressed with Supernova (a rare British-Australian co-prod, too) - I would recommend the movie A Cock and Bull Story though, since Brydon's fantastic in that.

Not sure what the best JP thing to watch is since she's done an awfully large number of costume dramas/period pieces, coupled with a lot of ITV tatt. Don't think she's in The Lost World much, but I haven't watched it all the way through yet. David Copperfield is definitely worth a watch if you like Dickens. Gavin & Stacey is, of course, the one though.
