Sony's Rolling Stone Bunny Bravia ad

Posted on October 16, 2007 | 3 comments |

I'm not sure what it is about the new Sony Bravia ad that I love so much. Is it the claymation bunnies? Is it the use of the Rolling Stones' 'She's A Rainbow' as the soundtrack? Whatever it is, I love it. Here it is on YouTube, in case you haven't seen it.

UPDATE: Rullsenberg likes it too! Spread the rolling claymation bunny love, everyone…

Kozyndan (LA artist couple) are very ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù?Ǭ†and understandably ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äù?Ǭ†pissed off about this. They use very similar bunnies as a motif in their work, and some of Sony's images in the ad are suspiciously similar. The Great Wave of Bunnies, in particular, as well as the panoramic they link to in the blog entry.

God, these bunny motifs breed like rabbits, don't they?

Sorry, I was momentarily distracted by one of your quick comment options above (no prizes for guessing which!).

Just to say, I too would be hacked off if someone nicked my good bunny idea but then again anything that brings cute bunnies to the fore HAS to be good!

  • Had I been paying proper attention, I'd have noticed that Stephen Moyer, who plays the seemingly friendly vampire in True Blood, also played the seemingly friendly vampire best pal of Jack Davenport in Ultraviolet

  • Don't forget the Sky+ competition. Deadline for entries is Monday 21st July 2008

  • Lab Rats: BBC2, Thursdays, 9.30pm. Laughter count: a few, I guess. Not awful, not bad for a first episode, but needs some work. And it does have both Chris Addison and Geoff McGivern in it.
