Confession: I have never watched 'The Shawshank Redemption'. Frankly, the amount of "ohmygoditssoinspiringandmoving" excess bawling that I have encountered everywhere on the web does nothing to make me change my mind and watch it. In fact, this house almost takes it as a a badge of honour to have decided to never watch it.

Frankly, I think if the executive producers of The It Crowd can come up with a show with the most unoriginal and dull series title in existence, Aliens in America (and, incidentally, it's been done, by both you and us, fellas), then I think there's no chance.

Christ, just found your link to Aliens in America. Ignore that previous comment!
(It does explain a lot, though; I really couldn't believe the executives would come up with something that simplistic for the name of a sci-fi show.)

I've also previewed it for your delectation. I thought it was rather good.
