I am more scared of James Marsters's real picture than I ever was of him as a vampire, even before he became nice vampire. I mean, it's so... [shudder].
Also, I like the phrase "mysterious multi-sexual time agent". How do I get one of those?

The James Marsters news *really* surprised me, actually; I mean, I don't know much about him, but staring in Buffy, he's got to be a massive star. And...he's in Torchwood. Little UK show that half the country loves, half of it reviles. Odd choice?

He's a middling star in the US; over here, that's a different matter. It's quite a clever move on RTD's part: not only does he get a shudder of pleasure from getting one of his beloved Buffy/Angel cast over here in one of his shows, he gets a chance to recapture the hearts of minds of geeks who have forsaken Torchwood; they wouldn't tune in for the second season without a good reason, and James Marsters is a very good reason indeed, for most UK sci-fi/fantasy viewers.
