I've been trying to badger our sales team for years!

(It's tempting to log in with my LJ account, but that would mess with my icon/interests shenanigans if I wanted to appear under my own name. Oh, well.)
That Snyder chappie seems well-intentioned and enthusiastic, but the weight of history* dictates it's going to turn out pants -- 'tis the curse of Uncle Alan. Even the Four sequel could turn out better, despite the Welsh contamination.
And now, having read two posts on AICN, I must go cleanse myself.
* Actually, 'tis Bayesian inference. But that doesn't sound as 'alf as impressive.

I can't believe The Mirror has an insider's quote. What's the point of parody when things like that are printed with a straight face?
I will be seeing Recovery tomorrow at the BAFTA screening, a friend who is a BAFTA member has invited me along. It should be interesting.

Stu: Centaur won't let you. Chinese walls, my friend. Chinese walls.
Mark: 300 does look good so maybe Watchmen has a slight chance. All the cool kids/enterprise search engines do Bayesian.
Poly: The Mirror's been a parody of itself for ages. That insider's quote would have been the reporter making stuff. It's implicit Mirror house style. Let us know how Recovery was once you've seen it!

Harumph. Hope you're going to tell us what it's like (with limited spoilers? Though, how would that be possible? Doesn't the synopsis give it mostly away?)

Ah, Jarvis, bless his quirks!

I know that the Mirror quotes are made up. But I thought the point of made up quotes is to look real. Oh well. I don't know why I am surprised.
I am from Greece and the story of the 300 spartans is important to me because of the idea of duty that transcends death, a notion completely alien to modern western culture. In that sense, the film makes my skin crawl. If I forget the origins of the story, I might be able to enjoy it.
Worst spoilers for me are when someone says: "oh that scene when he did that, and she said that and he moved across the room and he looked at her like that". The devil is in the details, I don't want to know the specifics because I then wait for that specific scene and compare the mental image in my head with the real thing. So If you want some personal reactions with no specific details, I can do that.

DT got his kit off in Secret Smile as well as all those listed (another shower scene). If the plot requires it he'll do it. One of the many reasons why we love him so much.
Meanwhile, Billie de Jour? I say No! No! No!

Did he poo in a bucket in Secret Smile, too? Blimey. Was that the reason he was smiling, secretly?
