- JJ Abrams may be off Star Trek XI to direct a Stephen King movie instead.
- Christopher Eccleston gets to be the villain in The Dark is Rising.

US TV
- Carson of Queer Eye is to host a US version of How to Look Good Naked.
- NBC isn't sure what to do with Studio 60 once it's on hiatus.
- Love that new girl, Nikki, on Lost? No. Oh well, looks like she's off to Football Wives anyway.
- Clips and stuff from the next episode of Heroes.
- There's now a Ben & Jerry's Stephen Colbert ice cream: “The sweet taste of liberty in your mouth”.
- Jimmy Smits has a new show. He's going to be selling rum. There's different.
- Patrick Stewart describes ST:TNG as a calamity. Not quite sure why.

I've yet to see any evidence that Gervais and Merchant can do a US-style drama. I'd still prefer it to more Extras though.

"Tom Ellis (Ed: Who he?)"

The 300 reviews I've seen have suggested 'Ok, but not up to the hype'. Then again, as someone who didn't like Sin City, maybe I'll be with the Berlin journos on this one.
