Is the Tennant site his actual site? OG has it down as a fan-run and I can't see anything there to suggest it's official.

It's as close to official as it comes, but it is a fan site. I'm sure Ms Rullsenberg, if she comes a-visiting, will let us know how reliable it's been in the past.

The David Tennant fansite is not unreliable but doesn't have exclusive information either (except for an interview with DT a few months back).
I don't think the girls who run it have special access.
To be honest, I might be blind but I can't find where it says that a Doctor Who Christmas Special 2007 is planned.

The DT fan site is large enough to have some web-presence clout and regularly sends stuff to him collectively produced and all that... not sure they will have extra skinny compared to any other news site though. They do, however, tend to be quick in posting new news but I suspect they pick it from the feeds same as the rest of us.
And btw, thanks for the credit re: Primeval though it should really acknowledge my source for directing me there. Due credit and all that.

Well you credit them on your entry so I figured everyone would get their karma sooner or later.
