In defence of M Night Shyamalan

Posted on July 21, 2006 | Post a comment |

Slate has an interesting defence of M Night Shyamalan today that's actually worth reading. Not only does it cut the guy a little slack (yes, his last couple of films have sucked rather a lot, but then Hitchcock had his bad streaks, too), it includes some snippets from The Man Who Heard Voices: Or, How M. Night Shyamalan Risked His Career on a Fairy Tale, which sounds absolutely hilarious.
